RuBee pRap is the next generation answer to mobile data collection -- The pRap is an industrial, ruggedized iTouch/iPhone in a drop hardened industrial case, with a high performance RuBee reader built in, combined with 20/20 AppPaks and RuBee TagWare. pRaps have an optional built-in bar code reader and a host of other options and accessories. pRaps have a two-way interactive RuBee base station and TagTool, a resident RuBee tag manager application. A pRap can discover, ping, read and write to any RuBee tag. Standard pRaps have a range of about 1.5 feet with range options from 7-8 feet and special designed antennas up to 50 feet (see below).
RuBee gRap is the check in/out Issuance station -- The gRap is an industrial, ruggedized iPad in a drop hardened industrial case, with a high performance RuBee reader built in, with optional 2D barcode reader and CAC card reader. gRaps may have WiFi and Bluetooth removed for use in secure areas, and all gRaps have a high speed TCP/IP RJ45 connection with optional POE.
RuBee Portal Platform (RP2) is a plug-n-play multi-channel portal manager. The RP2 is used in many 20/20 products. It can be configured to read exit/entry events at almost any door. Conventional personnel doors (3' x 8') can be managed with an internal antenna configuration called Muster Plus. Wider doors may require antennas known as the DoorGuard configuration. Security gates and drive ways are managed using the GateGuard configuration.
An RP2 properly configured for an exit or entry is capable of both asset and people detection with high sensitivity. Unlike RF systems, RuBee goes through people and steel so it is far more difficult, and in most cases near impossible, to hide an asset and get through a portal undetected.
Smart Racks and Shelves: RuBee is unique because it is magnetic. It can turn a steel shelf or rack into an antenna and read RuBee enabled assets on the shelf. Visible has several standard Smart Rack products that are network appliances. See 20/20 Solution Products for details.
Dot-Tag is the Visibility Engine that ties all components together into a network. Dot-Tag Oracle uses Oracle 11G database, and syncs all virtualized assets and people. Dot tag also provides asset audit logs and RuBee network diagnostics. See individual 20/20 Solution Products for details
